I’ve been meaning to read this book for a long time and January is the perfect time for a self help book. Watch out, you might become addicted to bettering yourself and change your life once you get your hands on Manifest by Roxie Nafousi.
After having the pleasure of meeting Roxie, I went out to buy her book. My journey with manifestation has been self lead and simple. I have my own techniques and understanding that have proved varying degrees of success so finding this book felt like fate. Almost six months later, I’ve finally got around to reading her guide to manifesting and it was a treat.
Since I’m comfortable with the basic ideas and practice manifesting myself, I wasn’t a total novice going into this book. Manifest built on and organised my understanding of the self help strategy. Roxie creates a guide that is easy to follow, dissecting each of the steps for real clarity. She guides readers on what the step is, why it’s necessary and how it works. Each of the steps builds on and connects to the previous emphasising that each is important. Terms are broken down so beginners will be comfortable and the personal anecdotes ground the practice in reality for those toeing the line.
Anyone fascinated by manifestation should definitely read this and the steps are beginner friendly. Deepen your knowledge on the topic or start fresh with Roxie’s clear steps, inspiring quotes and practical exercises to get you started straight away.
While I appreciate that the book was able to define and clarify ideas in a different way, the book wasn't totally novel and the writing was slightly amateurish though it would be very palatable for manifestation newbies.
This book is sure to give readers the same impression that is preached in Ratatouille — anyone can manifest.
